Name change
[edit]Hello,
The official name of the championship is National Women Football Championship, but, unlike other countries, there is no mention of taking place country. I suggest to keep the name as it is, because it is an official one, and add in brackets Pakistan, which would result in National Women Football Championship (Pakistan). It would be clearer for all users and readers. What do you think?
Best regards,

- Oppose there are no other articles called 'National Women Football Championship' that this needs disambiguating from, and there is no ambiguity or confusion. GiantSnowman 17:15, 14 February 2021 (UTC)
- Oppose there would need to be something else known specifically as National Women Football Championship before we can even consider this request.--65.92.160.124 (talk) 01:08, 15 February 2021 (UTC)
- Oppose: No other competition/article exists with the same name, therefore no need to disambiguate. Seany91 (talk) 17:59, 15 February 2021 (UTC)
- Support - Current title is ambiguous and fails WP:PRECISION, because there are "women['s] football championships" in most other nations. The Women's National U17 League (Ireland) began life as the Women's U17 League, and was moved for the same reason. Bring back Daz Sampson (talk) 21:23, 17 February 2021 (UTC)
- Comment: that move was done via WP:BOLD and not by consensus, so it's a pretty weak WP:OSE argument. Also, there's a difference between "National Women Football Championship" and "national women football championship(s)" that should be clear to any editor.
